A Magical Bean (Castanospermum australe) is an incredibly fascinating plant that is native to coastal rainforests and beaches in the east of Australia and to the Pacific islands of Vanuatu and New Caledonia
Water the plant thoroughly once per week or as required. Water less often in winter. If the plant has been left dry for an extended period, revive it by soaking the whole pot in a container of water for 10 minutes or so. Feed in spring and late summer/autumn with a slow release fertiliser.
